Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have welcomed their second child, and it’s a baby girl! The couple, who are already parents to their two-year-old daughter Dua, are now a family of four as they welcome their newest addition.
The couple made the announcement jointly on social media, sharing a creative featuring the tiny footprint of a baby. “Welcome baby girl!” read the post, which was signed off with “Dua, Deepika & Ranveer.” Several fans and well-wishers took to the comments section to congratulate the couple and welcome their baby girl.

The news comes just a day after Deepika and Ranveer were clicked seeking blessings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple ahead of the arrival of their second child. Interestingly, Deepika and Ranveer had also visited Siddhivinayak in September 2024, shortly before welcoming their first child, Dua.
Deepika and Ranveer had announced their second pregnancy on April 19, 2026, through a social media post featuring Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. They later shared glimpses from their maternity shoot, including intimate pictures with Dua as they prepared to welcome another member into their family.
The couple welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024, and had largely kept her away from the public eye. They officially revealed her name, Dua Padukone Singh, a few months after her birth. With her parents now welcoming another baby girl, Dua has officially stepped into her new role as a big sister.
The arrival of their second child also comes amid busy professional schedules for both actors. Deepika is set to be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and is also part of Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi action film Raaka, headlined by Allu Arjun. Ranveer, meanwhile, has Pralay among his upcoming projects.
