Vijayawada:Justice Lisa Gill will become the first woman Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court when she assumes office on April 25.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in a post on X, congratulated Justice Gill on her appointment and described it as a historic milestone that would strengthen women’s representation in the higher judiciary.
He said Justice Gill had built a distinguished legal career over the years and had handled a wide range of civil, criminal and constitutional matters with distinction.
Naidu wished her a successful and impactful tenure in upholding the rule of law and delivering justice with wisdom and integrity.
