Kanye West has been dealt another blow, with more of his upcoming concerts being axed in the wake of his antisemitic views, seeing him banned from entering the United Kingdom

Kanye West has had more concerts cancelled. The controversial rapper was hoping to perform across the United Kingdom and Europe this summer, following sold-out shows in Los Angeles earlier this month.

However, the rapper, now known as Ye, has seen his plans fall through following his antisemitic rants across social media. West, 48, has been condemned for his actions, which also saw him release a t-shirt featuring a swastika.

But while he issued an apology, a string of his concerts have been cancelled. These include his three-day headline slot at Wireless Festival, which was due to take place this summer, but West was refused entry to the UK, leading to the festival’s cancellation. Prior to this, West’s team had reportedly attempted to lock in dates at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium – but the club’s bosses ares said to have refused to allow it.

Now, his concerts in Switzerland and Poland have also been cancelled. Football club FC Basel, which takes responsibility for events at its stadium, St Jakob-Park, said that after a review, West’s event has been cancelled.

Bosses said in a statement: “FCB received an enquiry and considered it. However, after thorough review, we have decided not to proceed with the project, as we cannot, in accordance with our values, provide a platform for the artist in question within this context.”

West was scheduled to perform at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów on June 19, marking his first performance in Poland in 15 years. However, this event was also cancelled following “formal and legal reasons”. Adam Strzyzewski, venue director for the Silesian Stadium, said: “The concert by Ye (Kanye West), scheduled for 19 June 2026 at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium, will not take place due to formal and legal reasons.”

Poland’s culture ministry announced they were seeking to ban Kanye from performing in the country. Marta Cienkowska said that West’s “promotion of nazism” was in “manifest contradiction with Poland’s values.” Cienkowska went on to slam West as a musician who “openly declares he loves Hitler”. She added: “Who promotes Nazi ideology and makes money by selling T-shirts emblazoned with the swastika.

“In a country marked by the history of the Holocaust, we cannot pretend that this is just entertainment.” She went on to say that the country had the means to bar the entry of undesirable individuals and, if necessary, it would “resort to them”.

West had also been expected to play at Marseille’s Stade Vélodrome on June 11. However, he announced on his social media pages that he’d postponed the concert. “After much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show in Marseille, France until further notice,” Ye wrote last week on X, formerly known as Twitter, adding: “I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to make amends.”

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez had pledged to explore “all possibilities” to make sure the show would not go on as planned, according to his office. Earlier this year, Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan opposed the rapper’s visit to one of France’s most multicultural cities, which has a history of immigration stretching back centuries.

“I refuse to let Marseille be a showcase for those who promote hatred and unabashed Nazism,” Payan said. “Kanye West is not welcome at the Vélodrome, our temple of community and home to all Marseillais.”

As well as spreading messages of praise for Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, who was responsible for the death of six million Jews, West released a song titled Heil Hitler. Officials in Australia cancelled the musician’s visa in July after the release of the single. West has since apologised for antisemitic comments in a full-page advert hosted by the Wall Street Journal. He said he was in a “four-month-long manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behaviour that destroyed my life.” In his letter, he said he wasn’t looking for “sympathy or a free pass,” adding that he wanted to “earn forgiveness”.
