Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash are one of the most adorable couples in the Hindi TV industry. Recently, on the show, Desi Bling, Karan went down on his knees and proposed to his ladylove, Tejasswi. The much-in-love couple often hit the headlines with rumours of their marriage. Before proposing to Tejasswi, Karan spoke to his parents. However, Karan was trolled due to this revelation. In a recent conversation, Karan has finally broken his silence on the criticism over the following.

In a recent conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Karan Kundrra took a dig at the trolls over seeking parents’ approval before proposing to his girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash. He reacted strongly to the trolls and questioned the backlash. Karan explained that a person should never forget about their parents when they get a partner. He also joked and asked whether the trolls who criticised him for taking approval before proposing to Tejasswi were born in the Kardashians’ house. He was quoted as saying:

“Agar aap parents se nahi puchoge, agar aap apna bhaiyon se nahi puchoge, to kisse puchoge? Ye jitney bhi log hain na jo bol rahe hain usko apne parents se baat nahi karni chahiye thi, lanat hai tumlogo ke upar. Kisi aur ke aane se aap apne parents ke position nahi bhul jaoge. Jo log mereko comment kar rahe hain na ki you should not talk to your parents, bhai kon si duniya mein paida hue ho? Hindustan mein paida hue ho ki kahi Kardashians ke ghar paida hue ho tumlog?”

Wedding bells will soon ring for Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash. After 4 years of dating, Karan finally went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Tejasswi, on the show, Desi Bling. It was an emotional moment for both Tejasswi and Karan. It was Karan who planned the whole thing with the help of the other cast members, including Rizwan Sajan, Satish Sanpal, Adel Sajan, Dyuti Parruk, Janvee Gaur, Sana Sajan, Lailli Mirza, Alizey Mirza, Tabina Sanpal, Pamela Serena and Iryna Kinakh.

When Tejasswi entered the decorated venue, she was shocked to see the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’ written across the water in giant letters. Taken by surprise, Tejasswi said to Karan, “I am shivering.” Comforting her, Karan delivered a heartfelt speech. He said:

“Jab hum mile the, toh bohot kuch hua tha… Jab hum bahar aaye, sab ne kaha tha ki yeh toh 2 hafte nahi tikenge. Kisi ne kaha tha main fake hu; kisi ne kaha tu fake hai. It’s been four years; we’ve seen everything, and we’ve been through everything. “Imperfectly perfect love story’- yeh tune hi term diya tha. Every year that I spent with you, it has changed the meaning of love for me. I never thought I would ever fall in love or commit. I want to thank you for bringing out the man in me, the man who has the guts to say, ‘This is it. It’s now and forever.'”

Karan’s heartfelt speech made Tejasswi emotional, and she broke down in tears. Soon, he went down on one knee and proposed to Tejasswi with a massive diamond ring. The pair’s love story began inside the Bigg Boss 15 house in 2021. They first met on the fan favourite show, Bigg Boss 15 and fell in love. Since then, as they say, there was no looking back.
