Lee Andrews appears to have tried to win Katie Price round with another flashy piece of jewellery days after he left prison after being detained following allegations of espionage
Katie Price has flashed another new ring from husband Lee Andrews after claims he used her old one to pop the question to another woman.
She reiterated her commitment to her man after claims she had jetted out to see him to tell Lee’s it’s over. That seems to be far from her mind after he walked free from the notorious Al Awir prison in Dubai – even though she said he has a number of questions to answer.
She has now flown back to the Middle East and it seems he tried to charm with an expensive gift. She reposted a photo of them together getting some sun in Dubai, with a post claiming the two – who married days after meeting for the first time – were ‘wedding goals’.
Katie liked the snap, and shared it with her Facebook followers. She wrote over the top “Mr and Mrs. Love my new ring.” Lee caused headlines when it was claimed he used the same ring to propose to his influencer ex Dina Taj as he did when he got down on one knee to Katie.
The new ring is the latest present he has forked out for, after buying her another ring weeks after they wed in January.
After a wild two weeks of speculation of his whereabouts, it turned out Lee was behind bars. When he was released from prison last week, his first point of call was to contact his wife.
A source had said: “He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn’t pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid.
“She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well.”
Katie returned to the UK without her wedding ring on last week after her trip to see Lee in prison, a source told us she has no plans to ditch her man.
She claimed she had been asked to pay a six figure sum to grant Lee’s release but she hadn’t done so. “The only way Lee will get out of prison is he has to sort himself it out himself. If not, he’ll be in prison. I’m not here [in Dubai] to pay anything for anyone. There’s nothing I can do. I’ve got my own life, even though he’s part of my life,” she said.
Lee initially claimed he’d been arrested and detained following allegations of espionage. It was later reported to be a private civil matter.
For the first time, Katie also said she needed Lee to answer her questions – saying she’ll walk if he doesn’t. “I need answers, and if I don’t like the answers, I’ll be gone,” she told the Sun newspaper.
She added: “I’m 48. I don’t need to waste my time. We get along really well and he’s so intelligent … As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I’m really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.”
