Katie Price spoke about her husband Lee Andrews’ alleged travel ban as she claims they are handed out in Dubai for the smallest of issues
Katie Price hinted her husband does have a travel ban after all, as the pair delay their UK reunion. The former glamour model, 47, has been back and forth to Dubai following her quick-fire wedding in January, and Lee has kept claiming to be heading to Blighty.
But despite Lee Andrews’ comments, he has yet to set foot back on British soil, and speculation continues to grow about whether he can leave Dubai. Now, while he continues to deny any ban, Katie seems to cryptically admit he has to stay put.
In her latest podcast with her sister Sophie, Katie spoke about her relationship. Sophie quizzed her sibling on what is going on with Lee. Katie told Sophie: “Of course I’m going back to Dubai and Lee will come here when he needs to.

“People have to remember he’s lived in Dubai for 21 years, that’s where he lives and where he does his work. There’ll be a time when he does come to England, and he’ll be with me.”
Sophie asked her sister about the apparent travel ban, to which Katie said: “Do you know what? Everyone has said to me you can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai.
“A parking ticket or if you owe a bill for electricity or something… You can get a travel ban for absolutely anything.” She went on to claim: “You can get one for even breathing the wrong way in Dubai. It’s so strict.”
Chambers and Partners reports that a single unpaid parking ticket in Dubai is unlikely to result in a travel ban. But they say if a person acquires multiple fines that remain for a long time and are above AED 10,000, then a civil case could be raised, leading to a travel ban.
Lee presents himself online as a businessman, but reports have suggested he was banned from leaving Dubai after he was jailed there for three weeks due to forging his ex-girlfriend’s signature – something he denies.
An ex of Lee’s previously warned Katie to “run for the hills” amid a series of allegations about Lee. She also claimed Lee is under a travel ban and, therefore, unable to leave Dubai.
Katie was quick to hit back, though. Defending her new hubby against rumours he’s a con man and scammer, she told The Sun: “I can reassure everyone at home that I haven’t gone for a con man. I haven’t gone for a scammer. There was no love bombing.”
Earlier this month, Lee shared an ‘airport’ snap with his followers along with a plane emoji. His plans turned out to be false, though, with Lee seemingly still in Dubai.
The duo continue to share images and posts with each other from afar. It remains to be seen if Lee will be heading to the UK, with the businessman yet to meet any of Katie’s family.
