Katie Price welcomed the decision by Greater Manchester Police to sack an officer for comments made about her disabled son, Harvey Price
A police officer has been sacked for mocking Katie Price’s disabled son, Harvey, and the star has welcomed the outcome. Sergeant Natalie Dolan was dismissed from Greater Manchester Police on Thursday after a misconduct hearing following her comments about the 23 year old.
Dolan, who was involved in training officers, had sent messages to a colleague appearing to mock some recruits with reference to Harvey Price. Her messages are said to have implied some of he recruits couldn’t read, calling them “Harveys”.
The messages were sent via WhatsApp in August 2021. They read: “And then you have all the Harveys who need to be read to..” Other messages by Dolan, 48, were said to be inappropriate as well.

Harvey, who is Katie’s eldest child, has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and he is partially-sighted. Following the hearing, Dolan was sacked as they concluded she had breached the expectation of GMP officers to act with integrity.
The hearing report read: “PS Dolan acted in a way that was a serious departure from expected ethical standards.”
The comments were echoed by GMP’s Det Supt Dave Jones, who said: “The behaviour identified in this case was wholly unacceptable. There is no place in our organisation for behaviour that discriminates on the grounds of any characteristic.”
Katie welcomed the decision and hit out at Dolan. The former glamour model told The Sun: “This is not only discriminatory against anyone with a disability or complex needs but, speaking as a mother, it’s disgusting how hurtful and upset it’s made me.”
She added: “It has caused anxiety and stress. Constantly I feel I have to protect my children from trolls, and especially Harvey as he’s an easy target because he can’t answer back.”
Dolan had served in the force for 25 years. She was said to have been previous of good character. But she was found guilty of gross misconduct and dismissed with immediate effect.
Katie recently Katie Price shared a heartfelt update about her son after his latest health concerns. It came to light earlier this month that Harvey’s weight had almost reached 30 stone.
Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie revealed that Harvey would be on the “verge of a heart attack” if he continued to put weight on. She described it as a “massive worry for me at the moment”.
Before jetting back off to Dubai last week to be with husband Lee Andrews, Katie spent four weeks taking care of Harvey,. And sharing an update from Dubai, she explained how a day out with Harvey can be “full on”.
Katie said: “Aw, my God. I’ve had a week, right, off. So I’ve obviously had Harvey, and I need a break. So I’ve had him four weeks and now I’ve flown out to see hubby. And I haven’t seen him for four weeks, so that’s good.
“So, I done lots of things with Harv, but this week, I took Harvey back just for three days, just so I could go to the Isle of Wight on my own to see Mum.”
She went on: “Cos, obviously, you had a day out with me with Harv, and it’s constant. I took him to TK Maxx. I just can’t. He’s just full on, isn’t he? ‘How long? How long? How…’ So I thought, ‘Look, Mum’s come out of hospital. I’m gonna go and see her, so she’s got my undivided attention’.”
