Katie Price has revealed the results of her painful lip corrective surgery just days after undergoing the procedure in Brussels, while she remained completely awake
Katie Price has shared the results of her latest cosmetic surgery. The former glamour model revealed last week that she would once again be going under the knife for more surgery, but she stated she would be awake throughout the procedure.
The TV star, 48, jetted out to Brussels to remove the scar tissue in her lips, caused by migrated lip filler. During an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she told her sister, Sophie, that she wouldn’t be asleep for the surgery.
“I’m doing it awake, not on anaesthetic… going to Brussels because it needs doing,” she said. And now, Katie has revealed the results of the operation days after sharing a bruised and swollen pout.
Katie has stepped out at the official premiere of her Sky Original documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, in London. The star looked sensational as she rocked a full face of glamorous makeup for the occasion. Katie’s lips looked less swollen as her scar was visible just below her nose.
Despite the blistering heat, Katie opted for a figure-hugging, backless black dress that showcased her array of tattoos across her back. She completed her look with a pair of black platformed heels, while her signature raven locks were styled into loose, natural waves.
Earlier this week, Katie also implied that she would be going under the knife again by having surgery on her nose. After giving fans a glimpse of her lip results, she noticed that her nose didn’t sit how she would like it to.
“Oh my God, my nose still looks wonky, but I’m going to have a nose job,” she said. In another clip, she mocked her lips “quacking” to the camera while her daughter Princess, 18, watched on and said: “Her lips, don’t approve.”
Katie didn’t seem too upset by the drastic swelling and bruising and said: “It is what it is trust the process. I’m still going to eat a burger, though. Have put some makeup on it to cover the bruises up. But quack, quack.”
While at the hairdresser’s, she told fans: “My lip has settled more today. Still bruised. But it’s going down each day.” Katie is set to bare all in her new documentary, produced by the team behind Louis Theroux’s Inside the Manosphere.
The documentary will air “extraordinary unseen footage”, as well as “first-time testimony to deliver a revealing portrait of one of Britain’s most enduring celebrity figures.”
Ths show will also feature interviews with Katie’s ex-husband, Alex Reid, as well as her former boyfriends, Dane Bowers and Pop Idol star, Gareth Gates. The singer and Katie had a brief fling when he was 17, and although Gates doesn’t speak in the trailer, he appears stern-faced as Katie is heard saying: “I know I’ve hurt people deeply.”
Gareth famously opened up about how he met Katie when she was 23 and struggled with Katie telling the story of him losing his virginity to her. “That was a lot for a kid who wasn’t even an adult to take,” he said.
“I was shocked, and at the time, I actually didnt believe it was from her. I thought the press had made it up. But then it turned out it actually was her who sold the story – that was a lot for a kid who wasn’t even an adult to take.”
