Katie Price today told a child rape trial that her ex-husband had “done stuff” with other underage children

Kieran Hayler, 39, is accused of committing three rapes and a sex assault against a 13-year-old girl between June and October 2016, while he was married to Ms Price. He denies all charges.

Giving evidence from behind a screen, Ms Price, 48, spoke about checking into the Priory, which she claims she did to cope with the -allegations against Hayler.

She said: “If you want to discuss the Priory, I’ll discuss it with you. I can expose Kieran for all the other children he’s done stuff with. I’m happy to tell the truth about the other kids who haven’t come forward, including [a child].”

During her evidence, Ms Price named two separate underage victims she claims Hayler abused. Neither are involved in the case and cannot be named for legal reasons. She did not elaborate on her claims.

During cross-examination at Lewes crown court, in East Sussex, she was shown messages. She told the jury: “He also did stuff with [the named girl], she was underage.” She added: “I haven’t seen the name here for ages and it’s triggered me seeing the name in evidence.”

The trial has previously heard how Ms Price began quizzing the alleged victim in May 2017, when she was aged 14, about rumours she had heard about Hayler’s alleged conduct. In messages, Ms Price told her: “I’ll make you a little star.” Asked about the comment, Ms Price claimed: “That’s a figure of speech. She was 13. There was no agenda or nothing behind that.”

Ms Price also accused Hayler of driving her to drugs by allegedly conducting a number of affairs with women, including with family nanny Nikki Brown. She alleged he introduced her to cocaine and removed SIM cards from her phones.

Ms Price said: “I went into the Priory because of the damage he had done to me with [complainant]. I had a breakdown. I -self-medicated on coke and had lots of therapy. Kieran introduced me to it.”

The court yesterday heard it is accepted that Hayler had an affair with Ms Brown. Ms Price said: “Ten months he had an affair with her.”

Asked by the defence if she chose to employ Ms Brown because she was middle-aged, Ms Price said: “She was younger than me. I don’t know, I can’t remember how old she was. I don’t know, do I look middle-aged? I’m 48, I don’t know these days. I don’t know old Nikki was. But she was an adult.”

Challenged by Hayler’s barrister that she had chosen to employ her because “she wasn’t very attractive and was -overweight”, Ms Price said: “-Absolutely. There was a reason for that, so he didn’t cheat on me again, but he did.”

Ms Price also denied claims from Hayler’s barrister Arlette Piercy that she has acted in an angry and vengeful way by making her accusations against him.

Ms Piercy told Ms Price: “You have evidenced a vendetta against him over a number of years.” Ms Price replied: “That is not true.” She was asked whether she had been following media reports of her trial. She said she had been handcuffed to Reform UK MP Suella Braverman all week for a TV show, saying: “I haven’t followed any reports.”

Ms Price is set to give her third day of testimony today. She told the court she must attend a medical appointment in the morning, followed by a visit to her mum.

She said: “I promised my mum I’d see her tomorrow. My mum’s dying at the moment and I haven’t been able to see her because I’ve got a cold… she’s got days.”

Ms Price and Hayler were married from 2013 to 2021, but split in 2018. Last week, the jury heard Ms Price told a social worker in August 2018 that Hayler had groomed his alleged victim from when she was aged 13.

The mother of the alleged victim told the court in August 2017 her daughter claimed: “He’s done everything to me, Mummy.” She said she told Ms Price weeks later as she felt “a burden”. The trial continues.
