Katie Price has urgently asked for her cats to be returned after claiming two of her Sphynx pets have been stolen as she headed to Dubai to be with husband Lee Andrews
Katie Price has issued an urgent plea for the safe return of her missing cats. She had revealed two of her animals have gone missing and claims they have been stolen.
Sharing the sad news on her Instagram Stories, she shared an image of Eilleen – one of her Sphynx cats – first. She explained her pet has “gone missing or stolen” as she pleaded for her safe return.
Katie followed it up with a second post regarding Doris the cat. In a sad update, she revealed the Sphynx cat was also missing or stolen. She went on: “I came to Dubai Wednesday and my cats were home Tuesday night.
“I live in a private area and my cats don’t just disappear. Who ever has them return them. They are my babies.” Katie added a broken heart emoji.
She also shared a plea from a fan page who described the animals’ “mysterious” disappearance. The 48-year-old former glamour model’s latest issue with her pets comes days after one of her other cats died.
Husband Lee Andrews revealed the sad news in one of his latest Cameo videos. He was asked by a fan to wish their “best cat dad” a happy Father’s Day.
In it, Lee said: “I love dogs, I love cats, I love animals. So does Kate, so we share that empathy. She’s got five Sphynxes actually. One has just passed away.
“Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs. Eight Sphynxes, now seven, one passed away.”
Katie has had a number of pets die in recent years. In 2023, her German Shepherd dog Blade was knocked down and killed. It came six months after Sharon the Pomeranian was also said to have died on the same road.
In the same year, she received a visit from the RSPCA after the seventh pet died in her care. She said at the time she believed Blade was killed on purpose in a deliberate attack against her.
Then she updated her fans on the RSPCA visit. She said on Instagram: “Update – RSPCA have been up to my house not having any concerns about my animals and never had.”
She went on: “We are trying to put together how Blade has been killed and his last steps as this is a deliberate target to kill him.”
It came after the star had lost five dogs, a horse and her chameleon Marvin.
Earlier this year Katie came under fire and was branded “cruel” and “heartless” by fans after she appeared to suggest she might ditch her 17 pets. She had discussed how travelling to Dubai regularly had been affecting her animals.
In a YouTube vlog, Katie said she needed to “sort out” her pets: “I’ve got to sort out what I’m going to do with the animals because obviously Lee’s in Dubai and I’m going to keep going to Dubai and back.
“I’ve got 12 animals in the house. I know I like things excessive like big cars, big boobs, big bum, lots of animals, horses, this, that. I think I need to re-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything.”
She then seemed to ponder what to do with all of her pets. She added: “Because, yeah do I need so many animals? You know you gotta be there, all the time for them. Do I need….anyway everything I do is excessive, we all know that. You know that, I know that. So, I am gonna have to re-evaluate things in my life.”
