Katie Price took to her YouTube channel to announce a shocking update on husband Lee Andrews, saying she hasn’t seen or heard from him in three days amid fears he was kidnapped in Dubai.

Katie Price has revealed fears that her husband, Lee Andrews, has been kidnapped after not having heard from him for three days following his failure to return to the UK. The former glamour model claims she has “no idea where he is” after he failed to board a flight to the UK this week for a scheduled joint appearance on Good Morning Britain.

In a YouTube video posted today [Saturday], Katie said her husband had not been in contact with her since Wednesday and his location has been switched off. She also admitted that the embassy and head of CID [Criminal Investigation Department] in Dubai, where Lee lives, has been trying to track him down to no avail.

Katie fears her husband has been “kidnapped” and insisted he is a “missing person” after revealing the last time she spoke to him he had “ties around his hands and was in a van” with a “hood over his head”.

Katie Price’s statement in full

Katie said on her YouTube channel: “Hey everyone, I don’t really know where to begin, but I know there’s all this speculation about Lee from when I met him but something really, really serious has happened.

“I’ve been forced that I have to say this now because my sister’s been getting emails now from the media. It was put up on my Instagram that Lee is taking time out from social media because of all the trolling, the media frenzy, the speculation.

“I put that up because the truth is that Lee has been missing for three days. The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10pm. He was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me.

“Lee was trying to get through the border and… Oh, God, this is so… so, just discombobulating. So his location went off at 10.03 [pm] Wednesday night. That’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and myself.

“So this is the third day now. Obviously he phone me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere, so obviously I’m worried like ‘what the hell has happened?’.

“So now Thursday came, still nothing. My messages weren’t going through, it was just one tick. I was on the phone to his family, they’re on the phone to me saying ‘have you heard from Lee?’ I’m like ‘still nothing, have you?’, they’re like ‘nothing’.

“So then we got in contact with the police out in Dubai and I’ve got a head of CID out there and it’s really worrying because me in Lee are in constant, constant contact all the time so it’s really worrying.

“So we contact the police, so has his family… So I’ve had the head of CID in Dubai trying to track Lee. So far, I got a message this morning so now it’s three days, saying no one can find anywhere in the country where Lee has been detained.

“We’re now wondering… as far fetched as it is, well he’s definitely a missing person now, I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped. I don’t know what’s going on. So now no one can find him in any prison, police station, anything, anywhere in Dubai, police can’t find any record of it anywhere.

“I wasn’t going to say anything because there are some things that are private and serious. So this afternoon, my sister’s been getting emails saying that Lee’s been arrested, that is it.

“Someone’s said that he’s been arrested, but what I know is, the police in Dubai can’t find anywhere where he’s been arrested. Now, what makes this even more weird, is 1 o’clock this morning only my messages went on two blue ticks – none of his family’s have – and then the phone went off.

“They said the police wouldn’t go through his phone if he’d been arrested in Dubai, he would’ve been able to make a phone call if he was arrested in a police station and he hasn’t phoned any of us. So as of tomorrow… we were going to give it until tomorrow to file a missing person report… because now it’s getting serious.

“No one knows where he is. I’ve been told he hasn’t been arrested, because they can’t find anywhere, and now I’m wondering if he’s been kidnapped because he was by the border. So, that’s where we’re at. I don’t know what to say.

“The unsettling thing for me, is that when I last heard from him, he Facetimed me, he had a hood on and he said ‘I’ve just been captured, arrested’ or whatever, I can’t remember the exact words he said but he had ties around his hands, not handcuffs, and a hood.

“And he’s said ‘look they’re coming back for me, they’re coming back for me’. That is the last FaceTime call I had with him and then his phone went dead at 10.03.

“So this is a really worrying time for me. Three days, it’ll be four days tomorrow. No contact, no one’s had it no one can find him anywhere, so yeah, I’m really worried. I just don’t know what to do. The police are helping me in Dubai. So, yeah, he’s a missing person as of now and it’s worrying that the last call I had with him he had ties around his hand and a hood.

“And he was in a van but the van looked like, the windows were white, with mesh on the windows. It was a dirty van. That’s just the last contact I’ve had with him.

“And how I’m feeling at the moment, I’m feeling really deflated, unknown. At the end of the day he’s my husband, no matter what anyone ever says, this has happened and it is happening.

“I don’t know whether I need to fly to Dubai. I don’t know what to do. I’ve got all professional on the case and they’re all saying the same, this is just really weird.

“The last contact I had, he sounded really worried and he whispered ‘they’re coming for me now, they’re coming for me, I’ve got to go, I’ve got to go’. And that was it.

“So, whatever you read in the papers tomorrow, they have no idea this has happened so it’ll be interesting to say what they say, if they just say he’s arrested. Well, if the media say he’s arrested I’d like to know where and why they think he’s been arrested because I have got confirmation from Dubai police that they can’t find confirmation anywhere, in any place, on any system, that he’s been detained.

“So, it’s a really worrying time for me. Obviously, everyone has their thoughts on everything. But at the end of the day, I am married to Lee, he is my husband and I am really, really, really worried. The fact that he read my messages – you have to give a pin to a phone – so someone… you know, I’ve now got all these thoughts going around my mind that… I don’t know, my head’s all over the place about this situation at the minute.

“But I hope we find him soon, and have some explanation. And if he has been arrrested, really been arrested even though they’ve told me they can’t find him anywhere, I’d like to know what he’s been arrested for.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support, I’m having lots of supportive messages anyway. I don’t know why I’m saying this because it never happens anyway but I wish the press would respect my privacy or can they help try and find him. Help find where my husband is. I’d like to thank everyone and… I’ll keep you updated.”
