A professional dancer has made an emotional statement ahead of performing on Strictly Come Dancing. Katya Jones, 37, got quite sentimental as she opened up about the situation on Instagram on Saturday (October 10), and it has since triggered quite a lot of reaction.
The professional dancer, who is partnered with John Nellis in this year’s contest, made a very candid confession when she addressed the matter, and fans have rushed to offer comforting and kind words. “To me it feels like I’m holding on to a rope tighter and tighter as it gets further away, not wanting for it to slip away even a little bit. Time spent with my partner will always be my greatest comfort. Gosh, I love them so much.”
The post quickly stimulated conversation, with many fans being quick to support Katya. Many admitted her words made them quite emotional.

This year Katya and John have made quite an impression in the dance contest so far. During the first week of the live shows, they topped the leader board, scoring 31 points for their amazing foxtrot.
Tonight they will continue to battle it out on the dancefloor as they take on another dance. It’s reported they will perform a Cha Cha to Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body”.
