Kelly Osbourne was left in tears after her son, Sidney, gifted her a moving tribute to her late father, Ozzy, as she celebrated her birthday earlier this week
Kelly Osbourne was left in tears after receiving a moving tribute to her late father, Ozzy. Earlier this week, the television star celebrated her 42nd birthday, and her son, Sidney, was filmed giving her a sweet gift.
Her birthday was the second Kelly had celebrated without Ozzy, who died aged 76, in July 2025. Ozzy’s cause of death was listed as an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (joint causes).
Sidney gifted his mum a small keyring, in the shape of a bat – a nod to the late Prince of Darkness. Reading the card which accompanied the keyring, Kelly said: “When life turns you upside down, look ahead and don’t look around.”

Captioning her post, Kelly wrote: “If today was not emotional enough already, but then my favourite little man in the world went and did this! I’m so lucky that I get to be his mummy! He truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me!”
Her upload, which has been liked over 254,000 times, was soon flooded with sweet messages. Paloma Faith gushed: “Omg this is the most adorable.” Paris Hilton added: “Happy birthday love.” Coco Star penned: “Bless him, he is a big light in the world.” One fan typed: “You really are blessed with the most incredible little boy, Kelly. What such gorgeous gifts, and I just love how excited he always is to give you your presents from him. He is so precious.”
Kelly recently opened up about her decision to leave Los Angeles and return to England, where her son will now grow up. The star stated that while she initially enjoyed Sidney growing up the same way she did, she later realised she had ot make a major change.
She said: “I want my son to have a different childhood to mine. At first, when he was younger, and we were on the road a lot [with Sidney’s dad’s band Slipknot], I was like: ‘This is great. He gets to grow up just like me.’
“And then I thought: ‘No, this actually isn’t healthy for him, and this is exposing him to too much. I’ve got to get him home.’ We always said that if we ever have a child, he’s going to be raised in England.”
The former singer also recently unleashed a scathing attack on Sidney’s father, Sid Wilson, and demanded he pay child support. Writing on her Instagram, she said: “Wake the f*** up and take responsibility, I will not take your sh*t anymore! I’m done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise.”
In another post she wrote: “Also while I’m at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?” She later added: “Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence… It’s distraction. When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror; they throw it at someone else.
“I also heard that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say some are sicker then others.”
