Kendrick Perkins isn’t mincing words when it comes to LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul.
Paul, one of the most powerful agents in the NBA, received a tongue-lashing on live television from the former champion for what Perkins appears to consider disrespect for not answering him recently.
“Rich Paul, little turtle head snotty nose ass, called me all throughout the season. Every time I’m on TV, I get a text message from him,” Perkins said while on ESPN alongside reporter Brian Windhorst. “I’ve been calling him for two days now and he been ignoring me. We got a problem.”
Paul is entering one of his busiest seasons as an agent, as he is tasked with finding a new home for all-time great LeBron James as he enters his age-42 season.
James on Tuesday informed the Lakers that he would not be returning to the City of Angels to play for them and was looking for a change of scenery.

Paul also represents Draymond Green and Anthony Davis, both of whom are looking for new contracts.
Green just opted out of his Warriors deal to potentially make room for James on the Warriors.
Davis is eligible for a contract extension in August, and Paul is surely looking to get him a new contract.

The comments from Perkins to Paul should be interesting as Paul is now a media guy as well, co-hosting the “Game Over” podcast alongside Max Kellerman for Bill Simmons’ The Ringer/Spotify.
Paul will get the opportunity to come right back at Perkins on that platform, although he just may have bigger fish to fry in the NBA over the next few weeks.
NBA free agency began Tuesday with a flurry of moves, including James’ huge decision.
