EXCLUSIVE: Katie Price’s teen daughter Princess Andre is said to be getting support from her pal and daughter of Kerry Katona, Heidi, as she remains concerned about he mum’s latest marriage

With her own reality show, nearly a million followers on Instagram and a National Television Award nomination under her belt, Princess Andre has the world at her feet.
While the down-to-earth teenager could easily be overwhelmed by her growing success, as well as the intense spotlight on her mum Katie Price in recent weeks, she’s managed to keep her feet firmly on the ground, no doubt helped by her best friend and confidante Heidi Katona.
According to sources, 18-year-old Princess has been confiding in Heidi, 19, the daughter of our columnist Kerry, while Katie’s marriage to Lee Andrews hits the headlines. While Lee was reportedly released from prison in Dubai last week and reunited with his besotted wife, Princess was busy recovering from another luxury holiday with Heidi, during which the girls partied on an exclusive yacht and attended the Monaco Grand Prix.
Our insider says the lavish breaks act as a welcome distraction for Princess, who remains understandably concerned about her mum’s marriage to Lee. “People don’t realise just how close Princess and Heidi are,” our source said. “This isn’t a showbiz friendship or two nepo babies finding common ground – these girls have a genuine connection. Princess is leaning on Heidi as Katie continues to lurch from scandal to scandal. Her support has been invaluable.”
The two have known each other since they were babies. Katie famously met Princess’s dad, Peter Andre, while appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, and Kerry was also a campmate. The trio stayed firm friends for years, though in recent months the relationship between Katie and Kerry has cooled significantly.
Heidi and Princess have watched as their respective parents have gone through divorces (Heidi’s father, Kerry’s second husband Mark Croft, has not been in her life for years), and, in the case of their mums, stumbled into unhealthy relationships with other men.
Kerry, 45, has been candid about her abusive third marriage to the late George Kay, who lived with Heidi throughout her formative childhood years.
Katie, meanwhile, married Alex Reid for just 11 months, before moving on to Kieran Hayler. Kieran is due to stand trial in October after being accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, with Katie, 48, expected to be called as a witness.
“Heidi and Princess can totally relate to each other, they have so much in common,” our source said. “The girls have both seen their mums make bad choices when it comes to men.
“Heidi experienced the horror of her mum’s abuse at the hands of George and watched as things didn’t work out with Ryan [Mahoney, who Kerrie split from after six years together]. Princess has not only had to live through all the Katie drama, but she’s now had to see this Lee saga unfold – she feels helpless.
“Luckily Heidi is on hand with advice on how to get through it. They’re both incredibly focused young women and they have each other’s backs.”
The pair are often seen on each other’s social media, with recent snaps showing the girls enjoying the high life on a luxury yacht in Monaco, where they were holidaying with Princess’s brother Junior and his girlfriend Jasmine Orr.
Last week Kerry gushed about how close the girls were, as she addressed Heidi being in Monaco for the Formula 1 festivities. “I love that she was with Princess and Junior, who have been lifelong friends to her,” she wrote in her column. “I was one of the first people to ever hold Junior, so those kids hold a place in my heart, too.”
Although Kerry has noticeably distanced herself from Katie of late, while continuing to wish her all the best as she tries to sort her marriage to Lee out, our source says Heidi and Princess want to stay well out of any drama when it comes to their mums and their friendship.
“The girls don’t like to get involved in the politics of all that,” we were told. “They try and stay out of their business. But that’s always been the case. “Even when Kerry and Katie were completely estranged back in the day, Heidi and Princess stayed in touch with each other. Thank goodness they have that sort of bond with all the madness of the showbiz world.”
Our source also credits Princess’s dad, Peter, 53, and his wife Emily, 36, with being a stable influence on Princess. The family were together last week for Junior’s 21st birthday and were filmed enjoying tequila shots and hugging.
“Peter has absolutely stepped up for both kids to support them as all the drama unfolds around their mum,” our insider said. They added, “He has always been the grounding influence they need and both he and Emily massively approve of Heidi being in Princess’s life.”
