Ketan Agarwal Case, Siya Goyal’s Mom Says Daughter’s To-Be MIL Asked Her To Go On Trek, ‘He Was…’

26-year-old Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal’s murder has been grabbing the attention. It was reported that his to-be wife, Siya Goyal, along with her alleged beau, Chetan Chaudhary, pushed Ketan off the Lohagad Fort into a deep gorge. Siya and Chetan are both currently in police custody, and it was revealed that the duo had made several plans, at least three, to murder Ketan, before finally executing the same on her birthday on June 18, 2026. Ketan and Siya were all set to get married in November 2026, and they were engaged. And amid this case grabbing attention and the mystery deepening, it was Siya’s mother who now revealed some unknown information.

Siya Goyal’s mother reveals her daughter was asked to go on a trek by her to-be mother-in-law

Siya Goyal’s mother recently gave an interview to ANI, wherein she revealed that it’s really disturbing for both of their families. Siya’s mom said that she wants the criminal to be punished, and even though the criminal is her daughter, she should be rolled down from Lohagad Fort, just like Ketan Agarwal. In the same interview, Siya’s mom further shared that her daughter and Ketan shared a good bond, and she never felt that they were going through any challenges. Siya’s mom mentioned that her daughter was loved by her to-be in-laws, while denying their allegations that she was much into partying and drinking.

Speaking further on the same, Siya Goyal’s mom added that the previous night, when her daughter and Ketan went trekking, the duo called his mom. According to Siya’s mother, her daughter told her to-be mother-in-law that she didn’t want to go trekking, while Ketan was willing to go and even was convincing her. Siya’s mom revealed that it was Ketan’s mom who asked her to go trekking. Siya’s mother said:

“The night before the incident, Siya and Ketan had a video call about going to Lohagad Fort, and when Ketan’s mother came on the call, Siya said she didn’t want to go on the trek… but his mother asked her to go. This is all in the chat between the two.”

Police had earlier revealed to News18 that Siya Goyal’s alleged beau, Chetan followed her and Ketan on the trek, and he reached the spot. Chetan reportedly was waiting there after he received several signs throughout the trek. As per the investigators, Chetan and Siya had made plans beforehand, and pre-planned that she would give him a signal by sitting somewhere, when the moment would be right. Siya reportedly gave Chetan a sign, and he pushed Ketan off the Lohagad Fort deep into the gorge.

Chetan’s father had denied all such allegations, and according to him, his son revealed to him that he was ‘far away’ while Siya was standing near Ketan. Police revealed that the place was chosen intentionally, as it is mostly barren on weekdays. According to the reports, Chetan was at the spot for 10 minutes and climbed and descended from the mountain in just 50 minutes. 

Speaking of Siya and Ketan, the duo got engaged in February 2026, and they were all set to get married within a few months. His family even booked a luxurious palace for the duo’s wedding, as reported. Previously, Siya and Ketan were set to go to Bali for a pre-wedding photoshoot; however, she deliberately hid her passport, thereby cancelling the trip.
