Ketan Agarwal’s Murder, Accused Chetan Reacted To Claims Of Pushing The Former, Dad Reveals, ‘He..’

Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal passed away, and the shocking incident has grabbed significant attention. Ketan was all set to get married to Siya Goyal, a 22-year-old. For the unversed, it was Siya and her alleged beau, Chetan Chaudhary, who allegedly plotted and then killed Ketan by pushing him off the Lohagad Fort near Pune.

Reports claimed that Chetan and Siya had been planning to murder Ketan for a long time. The plan was executed, and Ketan was killed on June 18, 2026, on the day of Siya’s birthday. While reports were rife that Ketan was pushed by Siya and her boyfriend, Chetan, the latter’s father denied the same. According to him, Chetan had something to say about the claims that he pushed Ketan off into the gorge. 

Chetan Chaudhary denied pushing Ketan Agarwal off the Lohagad Fort

Chetan Chaudhary’s father recently sat for an interview with ANI, wherein he talked about the allegations about his son. According to Chetan’s father, Babulal, his son told his mother he would be out for 2-3 days for a business meeting, and they had no idea what had happened at Lohagad fort. In the same interview, Babulal Chaudhary said that when he reached the police station, his son, Chetan, told him that he didn’t push Ketan off into the valley, but rather he was standing ‘far away’.

According to Babulal, Chetan even said that the girl (Siya) was standing near the boy while he was far away, a claim that the accused made in front of his alleged girlfriend and another accused in the case, Siya. Babulal could be quoted as saying:

“He told his mother that he had a meeting and was leaving. He didn’t tell me anything. He said he would be back by 2 or 3. I don’t know what happened while they were talking. That’s what he told me. When we went to the police station, Chetan told me that he didn’t push him. He was standing far away. The girl was standing near the boy. Chetan told me this. He told me that in front of the girl as well. I don’t know whether she pushed him or not. But Chetan told me he was standing far away. I just came to know the name of the girl. I have never seen her before. I saw her in the police vehicle for the first time.”

According to Chetan’s father, he doesn’t know whether Siya pushed Ketan off the Lohagad Fort, but his son was standing far away. He also revealed that he had never met Siya, nor had he ever heard her name, and it was in the police vehicle that he saw the girl. According to Babulal, his son is being framed. He described his son as dutiful, adding that when Chetan was arrested at his house, the family members were told it was a fraud case and that the accused would be released in the morning. The family was not told about the seriousness of the case or that the arrest was related to a murder case. Stating that his son can never do such a thing, Babulal said:

“They told me it was a fraud case and that they would release my son in two hours. The next morning, we were told it was a murder case. I want Chetan to be acquitted. My son can’t do this.”

According to a recent report by News18, officers said that Chetan followed Siya and Ketan to Lohagad Fort and waited there. Reportedly, Chetan climbed and descended from the cliff within 50 minutes, while being in that particular spot for only 10 minutes. He and Siya reportedly pre-planned that she would give him a sign. According to the officers, Siya sat at a spot to give a hint to Chetan that it was the right time to push Ketan into the gorge. A security reportedly asked a hooded man about what he was doing, and the reply was that he was there to exercise, and reportedly, they chose that exact spot because on weekdays, that spot remains mostly deserted with fewer people.
