Hyderabad: Union minister G. Kishan Reddy and BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao reviewed arrangements for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s padayatra scheduled for 5 pm on Monday.
The BJP leaders examined the path of the padayatra stretching from the vicinity of Taj Mahal Hotel in Abids to Moazzamjahi Market and oversaw the arrangements and security measures to ensure the success of Monday’s padayatra.
Key party leaders and workers participated in this exercise.
BJP state chief spokesperson N.V. Subhash, who is overseeing the arrangements, told Deccan Chronicle that Shah would not be visiting the Bhagyalakshmi temple near Charminar.
“Those claims on social media are not correct.
He won’t be visiting the temple tomorrow,” he clarified.
Police sources said that the temple visit was pencilled into the schedule.
