In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney said she felt Kim always tried to “criticize” her and “pick on her”, making her feel bullied and isolated. Kourtney said that as they got older, “a lot of tension” started building between her and Kim. In the particular episode, they had some difficulty with scheduling the family Christmas photo shoot because of a time conflict on Kourtney’s end.
At one point, Kourtney thought Kim’s repeated jabs were becoming unbearable, and she “just couldn’t take it anymore.” As she tried to walk out of the room, Kim yelled, “I need Kourtney to not be so f—–g annoying with a stick up her a– like she f—–g runs this sh-t. Because she doesn’t. She’s the least exciting to look at.”
The comment on Kourtney’s physique was particularly hurtful and sensitive for the mom of three, given that once her own baby daddy, Scott Disick fat-shamed her for her postpartum weight. An emotional Kourtney then confided in her other sister, Khloé Kardashian. Kourtney stated that she would no longer let herself be “mistreated” and take a stand wherever necessary.
While sobbing, she questioned how someone could say such mean things to their sibling. Kourtney added that she had “different values” from her sister as her priority was being a mom to her kids rather than focusing on her job or physical appearance. In her words:
“I’m not here to be mistreated by my f—–g b—h family. Kim saying that I’m the least interesting to look at…who even speaks like that? You guys just have really different values than me. I choose to be a mother to my three kids. I am not here looking for another job. I already work enough, more than I would like to.”

Kim later doubled down on her attacks on Kourtney by saying she doesn’t “do f—–g sh-t.” This time, Kourtney wasn’t ready to swallow the insults and hit back, calling her sister a “very distraught, evil human being” and adding, “I’m not going to live my life around people that make me not feel good on a daily basis.” The heated argument continued with Kim calling Kourtney “f—–g lunatic.”
It was an account of one of the frequent clashes the two sisters have over trivial matters. Recently, Kourtney admitted that she is setting boundaries and keeping her distance from her siblings. However, she quickly clarified that it is entirely her choice and that her husband, Travis Barker, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Rocky, didn’t influence her at all.
Kourtney stated, “I’m doing it [isolating from family], it’s definitely me.” She added that Travis is more naturally inclined to solitude, but he didn’t try to mould his spouse like himself.
