Hyderabad: BRS Working President KTR said that he is going to a theatre after many years to watch Natural Star Nani’s recently released movie, “The Paradise”.
KTR took to his X and shared the news.
The Paradise, directed by by Srikanth Odela and bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena, under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, respectively. Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal played lead roles in the film.
Set in the 1980s in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, The Paradise revolves around the Savari tribe, a marginalised community struggling for identity and dignity. Jadal (Nani) emerges as a leader among them and takes on the powerful forces that deny his people recognition and respect.
Priyadarshi’s appearance as a character resembling Telangana political leader K Chandrasekhar Rao has become one of the talking points surrounding The Paradise. The actor plays MLA Shankaranna, a political figure in the story set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad.
