Kurnool: A 26-year-old Kurnool naïve died by suicide in Chicago in the United States, allegedly due to financial constraints. Chandu Iraganaboina had completed his Master’s in DePaul University in Chicago and was working with Dell since June last year. Local police were investigating the circumstances of this death.
“Chandu arrived in the United States in Chicago with big dreams, filled with hope and the same ambition held by so many international students. He was a wonderful human being – generous, warm, and a pillar of support for his friends and his younger brother. Tragically, the weight of the challenges he faced became too much to bear”, a GoFundMe post for Chandu, posted by his friend Rajesh Gurram read.
According to his social media accounts, Chandu completed his BTech from CMR College of Engineering, completed his Master’s from DePaul University in Chicago in March, 2025, and was working with Dell as a developer since June last. Friends and family were raising money, $60,000 till Thursday, for the repatriation of his body and the final rites.
