Lady Vols basketball is heading to Fort Myers, Florida, for Thanksgiving weekend this season, completing its nonconference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
Florida Gulf Coast, Creighton and Houston are also in the field for the Coconut Hoops Tournament, which will be played at Alico Arena on FGCU’s campus. Tennessee will open the tournament against FGCU on Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The winner of Tennessee and FGCU will face the winner of Houston and Creighton in the championship game on Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. The losing teams from the opening games will play at 4 p.m. on Nov. 29. Streaming information will be announced at a later date.
“We’re looking forward to our trip to the Fort Myers area and to competing for the first time in Coconut Hoops,” Tennessee coach Kim Caldwell said. “This multi-team event comes between a home game with UCLA and a road game at Virginia Tech, and it lines us up against some well-coached programs that have histories of success in their respective conferences. These competitive opportunities will test and prepare us for the conference schedule that lies ahead.”
Tickets will go on sale Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. on the event’s website.
The event, which is organized by event promotor bdG Sports, will also include Oklahoma State, Washington and UMass, which will play in a separate division. This year will be the 14th annual Coconut Hoops tournament.
