Liverpool return to Champions League action as they visit LASK Linz, with the Reds looking to get back to winning ways.
Andoni Iraola’s men were unable to rise to the occasion on Sunday as they were beaten 3-0 by Premier League leaders Manchester City amid a highly charged atmosphere at Anfield.
An injury-hit Liverpool side were unable to overcome Ryan Gravenberch’s red card as a City side playing for the first time after the club was found guilty of 114 breaches of Premier League financial rules capitalised emphatically on their extra man.
But a trip to Australia to face LASK promises to be an easier assignment for the Reds, who opened their Champions League campaign with victory over Atletico Madrid.
