PORTLAND, Ore. – The Houston Dash couldn’t hold a late lead and had to settle for a 1-1 draw with the Portland Thorns on Saturday night at Providence Park.
Kat Rader’s goal in the 10th minute put the Dash (8-6-12, 30 points) ahead. That lead held until the 85th minute, when Marie Müller equalized for the Thorns (12-7-7, 43).

Portland had five shots on goal to Houston’s two and controlled 55% of possession.
The Dash return home to play the Washington Spirit on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Shell Energy Stadium.
