Created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, this delightfully absurd adult animated comedy is loosely inspired by a real breakup and a cat caught in the middle. Jason Schwartzman voices Kevin, a pampered tuxedo cat who, upon discovering that his human owners have split up, makes his own bold decision, breaking up with both of them as well. He lands at a chaotic pet rescue in Astoria, Queens, where he must navigate independence, unexpected friendships and the terrifying reality of life without a couch and a perpetually full bowl of food. Whoopi Goldberg voices a feral, unpredictable hairless cat named Cupcake, John Waters plays a grumpy, sophisticated Persian who has sworn off humans entirely, Amy Sedaris voices a Shih Tzu, and Plaza herself voices Dana, the ex-owner left behind.

Unchosen (April 21)

This six-part British psychological thriller arrives with an unsettling quiet that escalates into something genuinely disturbing. Molly Windsor plays Rosie, a devoted wife and mother living inside a cloistered conservative Christian sect, whose carefully ordered world is destabilised by the sudden arrival of Sam (Fra Fee), an escaped convict seeking shelter. What begins as a dangerous encounter quickly becomes something more intimate: a forbidden affair that awakens desires Rosie had long buried, and begins to reveal the true nature of the community she has built her life around. Asa Butterfield plays her husband, Adam, while Christopher Eccleston and Siobhan Finneran also play pivotal roles.
