Arjun Acharya (Akshay Kumar) is a sceptical, London-returned NRI who inherits the sprawling Mangalpur Palace and decides to host his sister’s wedding inside it, despite warnings about the estate’s centuries-old supernatural legend involving a ghost called Vadhusur that kills brides. As paranormal incidents escalate and the wedding chaos spirals out of control, the palace’s darkest secrets begin to surface. Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan reunite for the first time in 14 years, and Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and Manoj Joshi also star alongside Kumar in a nod to the Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa era, with Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar and Jisshu Sengupta completing the cast.

Dridam (June 12)

This Malayalam investigative thriller marks the feature directorial debut of Martin Joseph. Shane Nigam plays Vijay Radhakrishnan, a newly appointed Sub-Inspector posted to a rural station that appears, on paper, to be the quietest posting imaginable. A series of brutal murders and a bank robbery begin unfolding in the area simultaneously, pulling Radhakrishnan into a high-pressure investigation that connects the two crimes in unexpected ways. Dinesh Prabhakar, Krishna Prabha, Saniya Fathima, Shobi Thilakan and Kottayam Ramesh also star.
