Amon-Ra St. Brown is adding a ring to his hand in 2026.
The star Lions receiver and girlfriend Brooklyn Adams announced Tuesday that they got engaged after St. Brown proposed on a boat.
Adams shared the news on her Instagram with a series of photos, showing St. Brown getting down on one knee on the boat as the happy couple kissed.
“Hard launch,” Adams wrote in the post that showed them both wearing white and surrounded by a floral arrangement of the same color.
St. Brown and Adams, a registered nurse, have been together since high school and even bought a house together last year, the two-time Lions All-Pro revealed in an interview with People earlier this year.
“Obviously, you get to choose what you show everyone. But no, it’s been amazing having my girl by my side,” St. Brown told the outlet in February. “My family has been so supportive of me throughout my career. My two brothers, my parents. So it’s been amazing.”
According to People, Adams helped St. Brown and his two brothers, Equanimeous and Osiris, create the St. Brown Foundation in 2025. Its mission is to “help students succeed academically and shoot for the stars — because when you put in the work, the possibilities are endless.”

As for the proposal, plenty of NFL faces showed their support, including St. Brown’s quarterback, Jared Goff, who posted a smiling emoji holding back tears.
Bears signal-caller Caleb Williams simply posted “wow.” Nicole Madisyn, the girlfriend of Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wrote “FIANCEEEE” with three rings.
St. Brown and the Lions will look to add another ring to their hands this season, which kicks off on Sept. 13 against the Saints. On an individual level, he’ll be eyeing a fifth straight season of 1,100 or more receiving yards.
