Exclusive: Lisa Armstrong is over the moon after accepting an offer for the former marital home which she received in the divorce from Ant McPartlin
Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong has been left delighted after finally severing all ties with ex husband Ant McPartlin – after selling the former marital home. The lavish five-bed west London property was the “last link” to her ex with whom she had a troubled relationship with.
It has been on the market for more than two years but she has now accepted a lower offer and is sold subject to contracts for £3.2million. Her and Ant bought the house for £2.3m in 2006. A source said she was “delighted that the last remnants of her marriage has been finally put to bed.”
Lisa had been renting out the property in the wake of her divorce from Ant before putting it on the market. However she was dogged by bad luck after a fire ravaged the property in September 2023. The inferno caused damages in excess of £1million.
It was initially listed for £4million in May 2024. The property includes an 80ft south facing rear garden – with a garden studio, as well as a gym and cinema room. The sale of the house comes after the death of her dog Hurley, which was another link to her ex-husband.
Friends said at the time how Lisa was left “beyond heartbroken” over 12-year-old Hurley, who was at the centre of a custody battle during her divorce wrangle with Ant. His death brought an end to any contact she had with the TV star. In recent years, either Lisa or her mother Linda used to meet up to exchange the dog as they shared custody.
Lisa divorced Ant in January 2018, two months before he crashed into two other cars while more than twice the drink-drive limit. He later admitted drink-driving and was fined £86,000 and given a 20-month ban. He went into rehab after the crash and took a 10-month break from TV.
The presenter, 50, one half of I’m A Celebrity double act Ant and Dec, is now married to his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, and the couple have a son, Wilder, who was born on May 14 last year.
Lisa has built up an impressive property portfolio since her divorce. Said to have received a £31million settlement from Ant, she bought a house near Oxford for more than £700,000 in 2024. Lisa then purchased another £3.8m house in West London in 2020.
