New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola will take charge of Liverpool at Anfield for the first time when his side take on Monaco.
The Reds have endured a mixed bag of results so far during pre-season, with Iraola seemingly alarmed enough by his squad’s lack of central defensive cover to agree a season-long loan deal for Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo.
Monaco, meanwhile, arrive under new boss Filipe Luis, the former Chelsea and Atlético Madrid full-back who took over in June on the back of a Copa Libertadores win with Flamengo.
The Principality club have had their own uneven pre-season, beating Getafe and lower-league Saint-Priest either side of a draw with Cercle Brugge and a defeat to Sporting CP.
