Lokesh Participates in Electoral Roll Revision, Urges Public Cooperation

Vijayawada: Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday participated in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process being undertaken by the Election Commission and appealed to citizens across Andhra Pradesh to actively take part in the voter roll verification exercise.

According to an official release, Lokesh submitted the required information and documents to the Booth Level Officer (BLO), who visited his residence at Undavalli as part of the ongoing revision process. He urged people to cooperate with election officials and complete the verification procedure to ensure accurate electoral rolls.

The minister advised citizens having doubts regarding the SIR process to contact the BLOs appointed in their respective wards. He also said that Booth Level Agents of the Telugu Desam would be available to assist voters during the exercise.

Tour programme: Lokesh would undertake a tour of Krishna district on Wednesday. He will inaugurate a newly constructed Zilla Parishad high school building at Kokkiligadda village in Mopidevi mandal of Avanigadda constituency between 10am and 11am.

Later, he would visit the Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Temple at Mopidevi before attending a coordination meeting with TD leaders and party workers at a venue in Mopidevi village.

In the evening, the minister would interact with fishermen at a meeting organised near the Gurukula School in Puligadda village of Avanigadda mandal, where local issues and welfare measures are expected to be discussed.
