London has been named the World’s Best City for 2025, marking its tenth consecutive year at the top of the rankings. Released by Resonance Consultancy in partnership with Ipsos, this annual report evaluates cities based on livability, lovability, and prosperity, assessing factors such as cultural vibrancy, quality of life, and business infrastructure.
Following London are New York and Paris, with Tokyo, Singapore, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, and Sydney rounding out the top ten. Notably, Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai did not make the top 100, although they rank within the top 20 in the Asia-Pacific context.
The rankings this year incorporated public perception data from over 22,000 respondents across 31 countries, highlighting a continued global aspiration to live and work in major urban centers. London’s appeal is attributed to its rich cultural heritage, robust economy, and diverse population, which contribute to its status as a leading destination for tourists and businesses alike.
