A prominent looksmaxxing influencer who goes by the name Androgenic online has been banned from Brisbane’s nightlife districts following his arrest over the weekend.

Queensland Police approached the 25-year-old St Lucia man about 12.30am on April 26 to discuss an incident that occurred at an unspecified Hungry Jack’s location on April 18.

The arrest was livestreamed on Kick, an Australian streaming platform. In the footage, the man’s personal security guards requested officers hold him, rather than handcuff him, which they agreed to do.

Androgenic, who has gained online notoriety for providing advice to young men on how to be maximally attractive to women, was later issued with an infringement notice for public nuisance, police confirmed.

“He was also served with a banning notice from the safe night precinct of Fortitude Valley and Brisbane City for one month,” a police spokesperson said.

Police confirmed the matter wouldn’t be escalated to court and weren’t able to confirm the man’s full name for privacy reasons.

The safe night precincts are a state government initiative designed to reduce drug and alcohol-related violence.

The April 18 incident in question resulted in Androgenic being banned from Kick at the time. Footage of the alleged incident showed him intervening in a fight between two women.

The “hectic” altercation prompted him to hire personal security when streaming in Brisbane.

Androgenic has not responded in detail to the arrest, only sharing with his 207,000 TikTok followers that this is “serious business” and he’s “no longer allowed in Brisbane”.

The Brisbane-based influencer was recently linked to high-profile “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular, who suffered an apparent overdose earlier in the month.

A viral clip appearing to expose his wig-wearing propelled him into mainstream discourse earlier in the year, gaining him hundreds of thousands of followers across TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube and Kick.
