Texas CEO calls out JPMorgan Chase CEO for strong action

As the Lorna Hajdini scandal has gone viral, a Texas-based businessman, Bobby Fijan, shared a public post about it. Notably, he asked JPMorgan Chase’s CEO, Jamie Dimon, to take decisive action if the accusations are proven wrong. He shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) and mentioned that Jamie should “Jump in” and take control of the situation. Bobby advised on a public relations and internal leadership standpoint.

The Texas-based businessman argued that it is a CEO’s responsibility to protect their employees from potentially damaging false claims. He explained how strong leadership during such public controversies can help to improve the team’s morale and trust. Bobby also mentioned that if an employee tried to harm a company’s employee reputation, they should face “massive retribution.” In turn, his comments received a lot of reactions. Several X users agreed that the company should take a strict call if the claims are proven to be baseless.

Bobby Fijan’s comment came at a time when the Lorna Hajdini case had drawn mixed responses from internet users. Some asked for a just investigation, while others supported the JPMorgan executive and suggested she take legal action if the accusations were not proven in court. One user penned, “Now that it will be proven false, he has to answer to his wife why he called her a fish head.” Another user wrote, “Congrats, everyone, you destroyed that poor woman’s career”. Meanwhile, political commentator, Nalin Haley asked people to avoid jumping to conclusions too quickly.

What are the accusations against Lorna Hajdini?

The controversy started after a lawsuit was filed against Lorna Hajdini. Reportedly, a junior employee from her team accused her of sexual harassment, coercion, racial abuse and drugging him with a date-rape substance without his consent. The allegations reported by The Daily Mail quickly went viral online. Soon, internet users began digging into Lorna’s social media profiles. Her LinkedIn profile was later deleted or deactivated. At the same time, JPMorgan denied the claims and mentioned:

“Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims. While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.”

What can happen next?

Since new reports suggest that the complainant has withdrawn the lawsuit seeking corrections, the next phase will depend on whether the complaint is refiled with changes. If it returns to court, both Lorna and JPMorgan might file formal responses to defend themselves. At the same time, the case will enter a discovery period, during which both sides will share witness statements, company records, internal communications, and digital evidence. Eventually, it would be decided whether both parties settle the case outside court. If they choose to proceed and the case goes to trial, a judge will take the final call.
