The breakout star of Love Is Blind UK’s third season took to Instagram Stories to issue an emotional update to her followers
Love Is Blind UK season three star Ciara Murphy has shared a sad update with her followers.
The 29-year-old Pilates instructor is currently appearing on the Netflix dating show, which sees singles go on a string of blind dates with a view to getting engaged to the person they form the strongest connection with. However, couples don’t get to see what the other looks like until a proposal is offered and accepted.
The latest batch of episodes arrived today (August 26) which showed the highly-anticipated wedding days. In total four couples tied the knot on the series, including Ciara and her match, 33-year-old fitness coach, Ajay Cheema.
However, just hours before viewers tuned in to watch her big day on the programme, the reality star shared some sad news with her followers via her Instagram Stories, revealing she was “in mourning.” It came as the news broke that country music icon Dolly Parton had passed away at the age of 80.
Reacting to the sad news, Ciara shared a photo of the star with a poignant message that read: “Oh actually never mind, cancel everything I’m going to be in mourning for the foreseeable.”
Ciara was one of 30 singles who entered Love Is Blind UK’s unique pods at the start of the experiment. She found herself facing a difficult decision as she had built a connection with 30-year-old chef Jack Bradshaw alongside her spark with Ajay.
Ultimately Ajay’s decisiveness and sole focus on Ciara won her heart, and the pair went on to say ‘I do’ on the programme. Whether the couple remain loved-up to this day will be revealed in the upcoming reunion episode which arrives on Netflix on August 30.

One show viewer penned: “Ciara…..Going on Love Is Blind to find someone to love you for who you are, whilst saying you have a minimum spend of £300 for a first date is sending me.” Another added: “Ciara is my queen!”
Love Is Blind UK series three is now streaming on Netflix. A reunion episode will be arrive on the platform on August 30.
