The couple made things official at an intimate civil ceremony at London’s Marylebone Town Hall last month, before flying off to Monaco after deciding they just had to have a second ceremony abroad.
They did it at a clifftop venue overlooking the ocean as they went all out for part two. Fellow Love Island star Georgia Steel and the other bridesmaids were dressed in matching green satin gowns, and guests were even seen dancing on the tables!
Francesca looked incredible in a perfect white strapless dress, while Ed opted for a perfectly fitting dark suit. Their bash even boasted violins and custom fans with white roses strewn everywhere.
Sharing a stunning video of their big day on Instagram, she captioned the fun clip: “We are married baby!!!!!!!” We saw the newlyweds dancing after a little lad delivered the wedding rings.
The couple went public with their romance back in 2021. Ed is a successful businessman and vice chairman of waste management company Powerday, which is owned by his dad. Ed and Fran have been close family friends for some time, according to reports.
The couple got hitched in August but have always been open about their plans for two celebrations.
Only a small number of the couple’s loved ones were lucky enough to witness the first civil ceremony, including Francesca’s adorable nephew Tony Jr, and her sister Claudia, whose partner is Tony Knightley, the brother of Sam Faiers’ partner Paul. TOWIE star Elma Pazar, who is also a former Islander, was also invited and celebrated with the newlyweds on the dancefloor.
The bridal party spent the night before the ceremony at the lavish Landmark London hotel, with Francesca sharing glimpses of her pre-wedding preparations, including silk bridal pyjamas, Buck’s Fizz and an in-room facial to give her and her bridal party “snatched faces” for the big day.
After the ceremony, Francesca was pictured cradling her and Ed’s beloved dog Stormi as they posed for formal photographs, before driving off in a vintage two-seat convertible Mercedes-Benz.
Francesca has been sharing the run-up to her civil wedding with her Instagram followers, and joked just two weeks before the ceremony, “I still don’t have an outfit”.
She didn’t give away the venue, but Francesca previously told OK! that Italy was high on her list.
“Italy’s just beautiful and I’ve loved it when I’ve been there, and I’ve got a bit of Italian in my family,” she said after the couple got engaged. “The food’s good in Italy, you can’t really beat it.”
