Mackenzie Shirilla Admitted Her Boyfriend, Dominic ‘Had To Die’, Shocking Claims By Former Inmate

Netflix’s recently released documentary, The Crash is currently dominating the headlines. The documentary has also brought Mackenzie Shirilla into the spotlight years later she was accused of intentionally killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo and their common friend in a car crash. However, Mackenzie and her family have stood firmly and claimed that the crash was not intentional. Amid that, a former prisoner, recently revealed that Mackenzie had once admitted that she killed her boyfriend on purpose.

Did Mackenzie Shirilla intentionally kill her boyfriend in the car crash?

According to a report by Poprant, a woman named Anastasia, who was with Mackenzie in the prison, recently claimed that the 22-year-old accused once confessed to her that she intentionally killed her boyfriend, Dominic Russo and their common friend, Davion Flanagan. Anastasia explained that Dominic was the intended target of the crash and he ‘had to die’. As per Mackenzie, her late boyfriend was destined to die in that car crash. However, it is worth noting that neither BollywoodShaadis nor the author can verify these claims.

Anastasia reveals details about Mackenzie Shirilla’s scrapbook

Further, the former prisoner, Anastasia also revealed that Mackenzie Shirilla also owned a scrapbook, in which she had pictures of herself, along with a few images connected to the car crash, because of which Mackenzie is currently in jail. Anatasia revealed that the most alarming part of the scrapbook was that it did not include any photos of her boyfriend, Dominic or their friend, Davion. It is worth noting that these claims are grabbing a lot of attention on social media.

Mackenzie Shirilla’s family continues to defend her after the release of The Crash

Ever since the Netflix documentary, The Crash, was released, Mackenzie Shirilla’s popularity has skyrocketed. In the past few days, her following on social media has increased to a great extent. On the other hand, Mackenzie’s family has been defending her since day one. They have been trying to convince that the car crash was unintentional; however, it looks like the authorities do not agree with it. In this process, Mackenzie’s father has also made some controversial statements, leading to his teaching job contract not being renewed. He also explained:

“I wouldn’t resign a contract with them for the simple fact of how they handled this situation. The school and the diocese showed their true colours. I’m done talking about this or anything that’s not about the injustice my daughter has been put through. My only focus is on her.”

Mackenzie Shirilla broke multiple rules in prison

A few days ago, a report by TMZ claimed that ever since Mackenzie has been convicted, she has broken a lot of rules of the prison. TMZ obtained the official reports, in which the authorities shared that Mackenzie often violated rules, including possessing medication, keeping unauthorised photos and being involved in a sexually explicit video call. Apart from this, she also misbehaved with other prisoners.

Talking more about Mackenzie Shirilla and her car crash, it all happened in 2022, at the age of 17, when she got involved in the death of her boyfriend and their friend. Eventually, it was turned into a murder claiming that Mackenzie intentionally killed them. Reportedly, Mackenzie’s relationship with her boyfriend had turned toxic just a few days before the car crash. As per officials, Mackenzie Shirilla intentionally increased the speed near a commercial building, crashing into Dominic and Davion. In 2023, she was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years.
