Queen of Pop Madonna appears to be Cole Palmer’s best friend, as the musician praised the Chelsea midfielder and his latest business venture amid the UK heatwave
Madonna has teamed up with Cole Palmer once again. As the UK embraces its third official heatwave of the summer, the Queen of Pop found a solution to remaining cool during her trip to London.
Palmer, who recently missed out on representing England at the 2026 World Cup, appeared in Madge’s Confessions II film, which gave fans insight into her most recent album of the same title.
Cole found himself alongside the likes of Honey Dijon, Joao Pedro, Richard E. Grant, and Shygirl in an exhilarating scene, replicating the nightlife universe surrounding Danceteria, the iconic New York club that helped pave the way for Madonna’s early career.
But while he’s not experiencing the warmer weather on the other side of the Atlantic, Palmer, 24, is keeping cool with his own premium ice range – Cole’d.
The Manchester-born star is selling “premium craft ice” in partnership with grocery delivery platform, Gopuff, with a subtle nod to his nickname, Cold Palmer.
His collection consists of chewable “pebble ice” which is filled with electrolytes, as well as large football-shaped ice spheres, available across the UK and US.
And Madonna is clearly a fan. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Madge, who was recently in London to launch her latest record, was seen posing in a lace bodysuit, complete with fishnets and gloves, as she held a box of Cole’d above her head
“When it gets too Hot,” she captioned her upload, all while tagging Cole, who has been making the most of his downtime over the summer.
Although Cole isn’t playing a part in this year’s World Cup campaign, he is making sure fans enjoy the games at home with his ice-cold range.
A spokesperson for Cole’d by Cole Palmer in partnership with Gopuff said: “Following last week’s heatwave, we’ve seen the range sell out and go viral across social media, with fans making Cole’d part of their summer plans.”
They continued by stating that throughout the coming weeks, as England strives to bring football home, they’re anticipating “busy evenings” as people stock up for viewing parties.
In a recent chat with the Times, he touched on his absence from the national squad in the US, Canada and Mexico, insisting that he could have made a difference.
“Every player that plays football wants to be at the World Cup, but it’s a decision that I cannot change and a hard one, for whatever reason. But I’m just trying to enjoy the summer off — the first summer I’ve ever had off,” he said.
“Yeah, of course it’s nice [fans suggesting Palmer should have been included], but I’m not there. I know what I could have offered, you know – something different to what the manager has picked. But like I said before, I can’t change the decision and I wish everyone all the best.
“Naturally. It’s like anything: if you’re told you’re, essentially, not good enough then you’re going to want to prove people wrong. So yeah, I guess so.”
