Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) urged the people in its jurisdiction to collect saplings and plant them as part of Vanamahotsavam.
Free plant saplings are available through the Urban Biodiversity Wing (UBD) deputy managers. The municipal corporation, in a post on X, shared the phone numbers of all 14 UBD deputy managers across its jurisdiction.
MMC commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy on Wednesday conducted a field inspection at Perumalla Swamy area in Alwal Circle. He instructed swift action on construction and demolition (C&D) waste, resolution of trade licence-related issues and immediate removal of road encroachments and take up block plantations.
