On Sunday, Matt Fitzpatrick claimed his fourth career PGA Tour win — and second RBC Heritage title — at Harbour Town, outlasting World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in a playoff.
With the win, Fitzpatrick joins Chris Gotterup as the only only player with two wins thus far this PGA Tour season. Fitzpatrick has also risen to No. 3 in the world, behind only Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
“Definitely high confidence right now for sure,” Fitzpatrick said in the wake of his victory. “The ball is obviously going where I intend it to go.
“I know there’s still areas that I want to improve on,” he continued. “I know it’s cliche, but I know there’s things that can still improve in certain areas. So that’s obviously exciting, given the results I’ve achieved so far and what’s to come.”

In terms of equipment, at least one thing that has remained consistent for Fitzpatrick throughout his ranking ascendancy, and that is his Skechers shoes. Fitzpatrick became a Skechers brand ambassador in 2022 and has been wearing the Blade Tour SI, which he and fellow Skechers ambassador Max Greyserman helped design.
Fitzpatrick is currently gaming an Augusta-inspired limited-edition color in the waterproof shoe.
Perhaps the most compelling selling point for the Blade Tour SI, though, is its slip-in construction. These shoes can be put on hands-free (!) while standing, thanks to Skechers’ innovative “Heel Pillow,” which cushions the Achilles and holds your foot securely in place.
This spiked Blade Tour SI offers additional comfort via an “Arch Fit” insole, lightweight “ECO FLIGHT” cushioning, and responsive “HYPER BURST PRO” sockliner.
