McDonald’s is offering a rotating selection of international menu items at its Chicago headquarters restaurant for a limited time, the company said. The location at 1035 W. Randolph St. is open to the public and currently features dishes from several countries under a Global Favorites menu.

The current lineup, per Allrecipes, features Australian Onion Rings, Canada’s Bacon Hot Honey McCrispy, a Salted Caramel Oreo McFlurry and a Salted Caramel Dipped Cone both from South Korea, and Dulce de Leche McPops from Chile. The menu is expected to run through mid-November.

The headquarters restaurant operates like any other corporate office but houses a public-facing restaurant that regularly rolls out items unavailable at ordinary McDonald’s locations, according to Allrecipes. The location refreshes its exclusive lineup on a cycle of roughly every few months.

Customer response to the international items has been favorable. Instagram food account @snackolator shared a review of the Australian Onion Rings, prompting a wave of reactions from McDonald’s fans. “FINALLY MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!” one customer wrote. “Wish these things would go nationwide,” said another. A third commenter noted they “had to double up on my order.”

The international menu arrives as McDonald’s works to build momentum in its U.S. business. The chain has NEXT”,”yLinkElement”:”context_link”,”yModuleName”:”content-canvas”,”yTrafficOrigin”:”content-canvas default”}” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer nofollow”>unveiled a new global growth strategy called McDonald’s > NEXT, centered on menu innovation, new restaurant designs, and improved operational efficiency. CEO Chris Kempczinski said in a memo to the company’s global system that “traditional competitors are upgrading their menus, and a new wave of specialists are emerging and redefining taste and quality across chicken, beef, and beverages.”

McDonald’s has leaned on limited-time offerings throughout 2026 to drive traffic. The chain brought back its Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Mighty Hot Sauce to participating restaurants nationwide starting September 1. Earlier this year, McDonald’s launched the Big Arch, a double-patty burger that contributed to a 3.9% domestic same-store sales gain in the first quarter, the company said. U.S. same-store sales growth slowed to 0.8% in the second quarter, down from 2.5% in the same period a year earlier.

The Global Favorites menu is exclusive to the Chicago headquarters and cannot be found at any regular McDonald’s location.
