According to reports, Ed Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, was born in the Bronx and raised in Pennsylvania. She was known for having led a life filled with grace and quiet strength. For Ed, Maureen was not only his girlfriend but also his travel companion, best friend, and a late-blooming football enthusiast. Unfortunately, it was on August 2, 2025, that Maureen passed away at the age of 74. Her obituary had praised her as a “devoted mother” with “impeccable taste,” but to Ed Kelce and his family, she was a force that kept them grounded. 

Despite being close to high-profile people like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, it didn’t seem like Maureen cared much for fame or was distracted by the cameras. This was evidenced when, during the whirlwind 2024 Super Bowl, Taylor Swift posed with her future father-in-law, Ed, Maureen quipped, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend.” This statement even made the Love Story singer laugh, highlighting how humorous, grounded, and sharp she was. Another time, Maureen had reportedly joked to Ed, saying:

“You don’t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.”

It seems like Travis Kelce is not the only one who has found the love of his life. This is because at the age of 74, the NFL star’s father, Ed Kelce, decided to hard-launch his new girlfriend. Taking to his Instagram handle, he posted a picture of his lady love, leaving fans completely stunned. According to reports, the woman in the picture is called Doree Hepner. Ed captioned the candid shot of her and wrote:

“With the dynamic and gorgeous Doree Hepner at 118 North, listening to York Street Hustle: their Summer Soul(stice) show.” 

For those unaware, Ed Kelce was previously married to Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce. They were together for more than two decades before deciding to part ways mutually. Now, his post featuring Doree appears to be his way of publicly announcing that she is the current love of his life. Additionally, given that he made the announcement just days ahead of Travis and Taylor’s wedding, it has put their relationship even more in the spotlight. As of now, it is to be seen if Doree makes an appearance alongside Ed during the singer’s wedding.

Within hours of Ed sharing Doree’s picture on his Instagram handle, fans have begun reacting to it and sharing their different opinions. One user believed that Ed was trying to take the attention away from Travis and Taylor’s wedding and wrote, “This post is giving ‘I was told to post something to convince people I’m not in Rhode Island for a wedding.” Another wrote, “Is this what kids call a soft launch?” A third user penned, “Papa Kelce got game.
