Meet Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s Ex-Husband, A.J. DiScala, Marriage Crumbled As Singer’s Theft Claim Hits

Jamie-Lynn Sigler is creating headlines with her recent claims related to her ex-husband, A.J. DiScala. The singer has now accused the actor of stealing everything that she earned from her work. The allegations were made in Jamie’s memoir, And So It Is… Notably, A.J. has not responded to the claims made so far. For the unversed, Jamie and A.J. were married from 2003 to 2006.

Also known as Abraxas Joseph DiScala, he has pursued a career as an actor. According to IMDb, he has appeared in a short film, Seek & Hide, released in 2004. His credits also include a TV show, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, where he was featured in an episode in 2005. However, he has not appeared in any other films or TV shows for all these years. He even served as a manager for Jamie-Lynn Sigler in the past.

A.J. DiScala was in the headlines in 2014 after he was involved in a legal issue

Back in 2014, A.J. DiScala was trending once again when Brooklyn federal prosecutors came up with some allegations against him. A.J. was serving as the CEO of OmniView Capital Advisors during this period. As per Page Six, A.J. artificially drove up the share prices of four firms before offloading stock to unsuspecting investors for a massive gain. DiScala’s voice was allegedly recorded on federal wiretaps while he spoke to another co-conspirator. A.J. was heard saying in the recording:

“It’s like going to the casino with their chips. You still don’t know the game. Ok, listen, I’m Yoda, you’re Obi-Wan, ok? You don’t get him clients and look for the shtup on the 10,000. You f****** take things out and let him buy the s*** out of them. And that’s how you make money.”

A.J. had a similar conversation with another individual. Notably, he was taken into custody on ten fraud counts. Apart from him, six more people were arrested, including Ira Shapiro, the CEO of CodeSmart. There was also an attorney along with some brokers and two investors.

As mentioned, Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s marriage to A.J. DiScala lasted for only three years. The pair reportedly met each other during the 2000s. Notably, Jamie was 19 years old at that time, and A.J. started serving as her manager in the same period. In 2003, the duo exchanged vows, and they divorced three years later, in 2006. Jamie once claimed during an interview with Page Six in 2008 that A.J. reportedly had control over her life when they were married.

Jamie opened up about her marriage in detail when she spoke to Us Weekly in April 2026. The actress said that she was battling multiple sclerosis when the romance started, and she wanted the relationship to survive in any manner. Jamie had also not announced her diagnosis and was keeping the health and marriage problems private. Jamie claimed that she felt like her life would collapse without A.J., and she was trying to seek help. She further stated:

“I needed someone to know how much pain I was in. I needed somebody to know how terrified I was, how overwhelmed I was, and he was going through his own thing, and he couldn’t see it. I couldn’t share it with anybody else. It was just a desperate cry for help, and I was terrified.”

Jamie-Lynn Sigler said in her new memoir, And So It Is…, that a forensic accountant was able to find how A.J. DiScala reportedly stole a lot of money from her. Jamie found the details when the divorce was being processed. Notably, Jamie was a part of the show, The Sopranos, when she first met A.J. Jamie was cast as one of the leads, ‘Meadow Soprano,’ and she earned a lot from the series.

The accountant revealed that everything that Jamie accumulated from her work on The Sopranos was first transferred into a joint account for the general expenses. However, a portion of those earnings was later allegedly transferred into another account, and Jamie had no idea about the same. Jamie said that although her accountant advised her to get the money back in some way, her lawyer told her to step back. Jamie explained the same by writing:

“This was important money. My accountant was adamant we try to go after it, but my lawyer explained that if we pursued it, we would probably have to go to court, and there would likely be months of agita and legal bills to follow, and at the end of the day, it was possible that we would be unsuccessful in getting any money.”
