Mel C has given fans a sneak peak at her honeymoon in Ibiza – and it looks wild! The artist also known as Sporty Spice, 52, tied the knot with Aussie model, Chris Dingwall, who she has been dating for three years, last weekend.
Following the star-studded nuptials, which were attended by Mel’s fellow Spice Girls, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell, the star jetted off on her honeymoon with Chris, and has now shared some snaps from the Spanish party island.
Seen sporting a white t.shirt, pink shorts, veil, trainers – and a cheeky lace garter – the Never Be The Same Again star snogs her new husband in front of a car, which is adorned with pairs of trainers. Clutching a gorgeous lilac bouquet, Mel captioned the snap: “The honeymoon. Who caught the bouquet?”
The mum-of-one later revealed she tossed the bouquet into an excitable party crowd, where she was performing a DJ set. The room was jam-packed with revellers celebrating the newlyweds, jumping up and down underneath a sea of flashing lights.
The Spice Girls icon tied the knot to her partner Chris last weekend in a gorgeous wedding ceremony in Cumbria.
The Mirror exclusively revealed that the secret nuptials were set to take place, with Emma, Mel B and Geri all there to celebrate their bandmate’s special day.
Victoria Beckham was absent for the festivities, but made sure she was there in spirit after designing Mel’s dress in a show-stopping offering.
Victoria told Vogue of the look: “Melanie is quite minimalist and didn’t want anything too fussy, conceptual or overly complicated – this is all very aligned with what I do.
Mel revealed that she has always been a huge fan of Posh’s label and it was an emotional experience with her daughter present at the fitting with them both.
“Victoria was so excited about being able to do this for me, and having her and Scarlet there… every step of the way has been very special,” Melanie said of the fitting experience. “Plus, I just love her clothes.”
But the slinky white slip wasn’t Mel’s only look, with the star opting for a custom Adidas tracksuit for the second part of her reception in an unusual but iconic tribute to her Sporty Spice days.
While Victoria was away in America watching the World Cup final with David, fellow Spice Girls Melanie B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton were all there in person and were delighted for their bandmate.
“All the girls are thrilled for her….they are all so excited. They have never seen her so happy,” a source told The Mirror of the nuptials.
