Recently, NFL insider, Richard Johnson claimed that Mike had proposed to Dianna one year after her 2021 marriage to Kevin Goldschmidt. Amid this, an unseen video of a boat ride by Mike and pregnant Dianna surfaced.

Dianna Russini, who is married to Shake Shack’s senior executive, Kevin Goldschmidt, has two sons, Michael and Joey. On May 7, 2026, TMZ shared an unseen video of pregnant Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel. In the now-viral video, Dianna, who was in her first pregnancy, was seen with Mike on the dock of a private rental company back in June 2021. In the clip, the duo was prepared to head out onto a lake in Putnam County, TN.

Dianna’s baby bump was clearly visible in the video, and TMZ claimed that she was about 6-7 months pregnant at the time. They were casually dressed and appeared in T-shirts and shorts. TMZ claimed that Mike Vrabel wanted to keep the weekend private and low-key. In fact, Page Six mentioned that the duo was cautious about photos being taken while they rented a private boat together to spend some quality time.

A week after the alleged affair of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel began making headlines, the former resigned from her post at The Athletic on April 14, 2026. A few days back, a source close to Dianna shared a rare glimpse into her life. Amid the fiasco, Dianna has deactivated her social media handles. According to the insider, Dianna is currently focusing on her two kids. After resigning from The Athletic, Dianna is busy with her mommy duties. She is spending family time at her home in Bergen County, New Jersey. The source said:

“One thing she is mainly focusing on is being a mom and to protect her kids through all of this madness.”

Dianna Russini’s professional front

Dianna joined ESPN in July 2015 as a SportsCenter anchor. She had spent eight years at ESPN as a host and an NFL insider providing news and analysis on NFL Countdown, NFL Live, and more. In August 2023, Dianna Russini left ESPN and joined The Athletic. At the time, Dianna said to the media:

“It wasn’t a situation where ESPN didn’t want me. I love ESPN. They’ve given me so many opportunities, and the people I’ve worked with were incredible. It was a really difficult decision for me, for my family. But it really came down to recognising that at ESPN I wasn’t going to change roles. Once I realised they were pretty much handing me over a blank sheet of paper that basically just said go be who you want to be, I realised that this could change my life. The Athletic showed that they value me more than ESPN, for sure.”

Dianna Russini continued working with The Athletic until April 14, 2026. In her resignation letter, Dianna mentioned that she believed that her decision to put down her papers at The Athletic was good for her, her family and her career. She highlighted that she had covered the NFL with much dedication and professionalism. After she resigned from The Athletic, Dianna got a job opportunity from her close friend, Stugotz. He mentioned in his podcast that the job offer will forever remain for Dianna.
