The Milwaukee Brewers are World Series Champions for the first time in franchise history. After finishing the regular season with a 103-59 record, they steamrolled through the postseason, going 11-2 overall and knocking off some of the best teams in baseball on their way to hoisting the commissioner’s trophy.

As is the case with every World Series winner, there were many players who contributed in big ways all year long. In Milwaukee’s case, they are fortunate to have been led by a group of bright young stars, and perhaps none will end up shining brighter than left fielder Jackson Chourio.

Upon making his season debut for the Brewers, Chourio was an instant boost on both offense and defense. He was especially hot in June when he slashed .319/.375/.638 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI. He cooled off considerably in July, but got hot again when Milwaukee needed him the most, hitting .337/.389/.531 with five home runs and 18 RBI in September/October.
