Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy inspected several long-pending civic issues and directed the officials concerned to take prompt action towards their resolution.
He reviewed the sewage overflow issue at the modern bakery and instructed officials to take immediate corrective measures. At LFJC junction in Beerappagadda, he examined the free-left access issue and directed officials to facilitate smoother traffic movement.
At Mallikarjun Nagar in Chilkanagar, the Commissioner inspected the stormwater drain outlet connecting to the Nacharam Lake outlet nala, where the flow passes through private land. Officials were directed to examine the issue and take appropriate measures to ensure proper drainage.
He reviewed the proposed road development works at Uppal on Warangal Highway to Mallikarjun Nagar via Nalla Cheruvu and asked officials to coordinate with HYDRAA and take the necessary steps for further action.
The Commissioner emphasised inter-departmental coordination and timely follow-up to resolve long-pending issues and improve civic infrastructure, drainage systems and traffic movement for public convenience.
