Mokshagna, son of actor and Andhra Pradesh MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, visited the Tirumala temple on Saturday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara during the VIP Break Darshan.
After completing the darshan, Mokshagna briefly interacted with the media and said he prayed for the well-being of his family, the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and the nation as a whole.
TTD officials welcomed him as per temple protocol and facilitated his visit. Following the darshan, temple priests blessed him with Vedic chants and presented him with sacred prasadam.
The visit attracted considerable attention amid growing anticipation surrounding Mokshagna’s entry into films. Dressed in a traditional kurta-pyjama and sporting a thick beard, he drew the attention of devotees and fans at the temple.
Balakrishna’s fans have long been awaiting Mokshagna’s silver screen debut. The actor-politician is reportedly keen on launching his son in a major project and is said to be personally overseeing preparations.
Mokshagna is expected to make his acting debut in 2026. After moving away from an earlier project planned with director Prashanth Varma, he is reportedly in discussions with a young filmmaker for his launch. An official announcement is expected in the coming months.
