Vikarabad: A woman and her two children were found dead in Adavi Venkatapur village of Chowdapur mandal in Vikarabad district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Navaneetha (27), her son Vignesh (7), and daughter Madhupriya (5). According to preliminary police investigations, Navaneetha is suspected to have killed her two children before dying by suicide.
Police said the family had reportedly been facing frequent domestic disputes, which may have led to the incident. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village.
