M&S has just launched a brand new range of loaded desserts including indulgent cookie cups and loaded doughnuts, and shoppers are rushing to their nearest stores to try them
Marks and Spencer has built a reputation for premium-quality foods and bakery products, which frequently become social media sensations thanks to their incredible taste. From freshly-baked cookies to chocolate-dipped fruits and show-stopping chocolate bars, it’s fair to say the retailer has mastered the art of creating exceptional sweet treats.
While speckled egg cookies and an enormous chocolate-covered custard cream biscuit have been causing a stir online in recent weeks, a fresh selection of indulgent desserts has now landed in M&S Food Halls, leaving customers eager to sample the various options and flavours on offer.
Posting on social media, popular account ‘New Food Spotter UK’ uploaded pictures of all the different flavours and varieties of the cookie cups and loaded doughnuts, with options to satisfy every palate.
“NEW Desserts now at Marks and Spencer,” they wrote on the post along with the photos of the new products in question.
The range features four distinct flavours of cookie cup, which the M&S website describes as biscuits moulded into miniature pie crusts and packed with assorted fillings.
Among the flavours is Pistachio Big Daddy, featuring a soft chocolate chip base filled with white chocolate cheesecake and pistachio crème, finished with salted caramel sauce, milk chocolate chunks, and pistachio pieces.
The second new flavour is Birthday Cake, featuring a chewy white chocolate chip cookie filled with creamy white chocolate cheesecake and fruity strawberry jam, finished with chunky white chocolate pieces, soft vanilla-flavoured sponge, and colourful sprinkles. This joins the cookie cup range, which already features an Extremely Chocolatey option.
Following this are three new varieties of ‘Dunked N’ Loaded’ doughnuts, including a Lemon Meringue flavour that appears to comprise a doughnut filled with lemon curd crème and covered with a white chocolate and lemon glaze.
Then there’s a Strawberry and Cream doughnut, filled with strawberry crème, and finished with a white chocolate and strawberry glaze, sprinkled with strawberry sugar pieces.
Lastly, there’s also a Custard Cream flavour, filled with custard cream biscuit crème and finished with a milk chocolate glaze and custard cream biscuit crumb. Clearly, M&S have catered for everyone with these varied fillings and flavours.
It’s already evident that shoppers are delighted, as numerous people flocked to the comments section of the Facebook post to express their initial reactions.
“I need!!!” one person commented, while another user said: “Look at that birthday cake cookie cup.
“Well we’re gonna have to try that,” someone else wrote. Another also said: “This shop is pure evil at this point!!!! I want it alllllll”
The indulgent doughnuts will set you back £2 apiece, or £6 for a pack of four, while the cookie cups come in at £3 each.
