Fans of Mugler’s original Alien perfume can now snap it up with almost £40 off as it’s reduced in a flash sale, and it’s the perfect ‘very long lasting’ scent for spring
When it comes to perfumes, one of the most iconic of all time has to be Mugler’s Alien. Originally released in 2005, it was one of the defining scents of the 00s, and continues to be a firm favourite (at least for nostalgia’s sake) long after Y2K ended.
However like most designer perfumes, stocking up on your favourite can be a splurge you only make when you’ve almost run out, with a typical 60ml bottle of Alien costing £99. But for a limited time, Amazon has slashed it down to just £61.29, saving you £40 and making now a great time to snap it up.

The perfume has a floral, woody fragrance that works all year round, but it’s particularly perfect for the spring and summer months thanks to its bright scent. Inspired by solar goddess energy, the scent was created to surround you with a positive aura, and even the bottle was inspired by amethyst – a symbol of meditation, inner peace and creative force.
Mugler’s Alien has top notes of jasmine sambac which give it a floral radiance and freshness, with heart notes of cashmeran wood for a slightly earthier scent. The base note is white amber, which is brightened by sunflower.
You can also re-fill the bottle for less once it’s empty with Mugler re-fills. Currently at Superdrug the 90ml Mugler Refillable bottle is £114.30, but you can also pick it up in 15, 30, 60 and 100ml refill options with prices from £39-£112.
Superdrug also stocks almost every iteration of Mugler’s Alien, including Alien Goddess and Alien Pulp, several of which are on sale right now. At Sephora, you can also get the Alien Eau De Parfum Set for £81, which includes Alien EDP 30ML, Alien Body Lotion 50ml and Alien EDP Travel Spray.
Boots has also slashed the price of countless perfumes and fragrance sets at the moment, including this YSL Black Opium Eau De Parfum 50ml, 10ml & Mini Lash Clash Gift Set. Usually priced at £106, it’s currently reduced to £70.66, and gets you a mini mascara and two YSL Black Opium perfumes, including a full-size 50ml one and a travel-friendly 10ml one.
Amazon shoppers have been singing the praises of the Mugler Alien perfume, particularly how long-lasting it is. One said: “Great value compared to stores. Great quality. Long lasting. Very effective mist. Smells amazing. Great size.”
